Silverleaf is a young elf fresh from the forests of his homeland. He is from a relatively well-to-do family, and has been trained in the traditional arts of elven swordplay, archery, and magic since he was quite young. He has set himself to the traditional elven task of exploring the world to understand his place in it before he returns home (in a scant few decades perhaps) to take his place as a full adult in elven society. He has always been an avid student, but his lack of experience leads him to believe he understands far more about the world outside his homeland than he really does.

His best friend is Frederik the dwarf, whom he considers his experienced guide in the world of humans. He is perceptive enough to see that Frederik is not quite as worldly and knowledgeable as he acts, but not nearly world-wise enough to understand how little informed Frederik really is – to say nothing of how even more ignorant is he himself.

Silverlead enthusiastically agreed to accompany Frederik in signing on with Morgan’s new band of adventurers. He considers it a rare opportunity to see even more of the world in the company of strong friends. He has absolutely no idea what he is actually getting himself in to.

I wanted Silverleaf to look like the elven equivalent of a grad student on his first trip abroad. He doesn’t even know what he doesn’t know. In my head he has a student-warrior sort of look. .
