My conception of Morgan Ironwolf is a young woman just striking out on her own and ready to prove herself. She’s been raised rough-and-tumble by a working-class caravan guard, and she’s prone to leaping before she looks and going with gut instinct rather than thinking things through. She’s nobody’s shrinking-violet – she can brawl with the best of them. She’s bossy, opinionated, and doesn’t tend to factor in her own lack of experience when making decisions. She practically radiates bravado.
The “angel” on her shoulder is her friend Rebecca – a childhood companion who was always as proper and by the rules as Morgan was rough and rowdy. The “devil” on her other is her friend “Black” Dougal – an all-around troublemaker and roustabout who’s fun for tearing up the town, but tends to constantly be in trouble with the guard and bring problems in his wake. She’s always left wondering if he’s *really* worth putting up with. But man, he throws a good party.
The challenge here is getting a look that says “young and cocky” but also “brawler”. No super-model looks for Morgan. She can’t be frail and sporting glitzy makeup. She’s rough, tough, and not in the slightest impressed by you. Which means we’ll have to work the system a bit to make sure the AI doesn’t hand us a snow bunny in chainmail. I went with “young German woman” for the baseline, and filled out the description from there.
“young german woman, strong, muscular, mercenary, rough, scruffy, looking competitive, cocky smile, tough, short unkempt brown hair, brown eyes, wearing tattered chainmail and leather, feisty”
