“Black” Dougal Campbell is a born lowlife. He’s that “friend” who’s *always* running a scam, *always* finding new ways to get in trouble, and somehow *always* making it out by the seat of his pants. Lives for today. *Never* thinks about the likely results of his actions. *Always* two steps ahead of the consequences as they chase along behind him leaving havoc in their wake. And never ready to buckle down and work for anything when there’s a quick-and-dirty path that’s “basically the same thing, yeah?”.
He’s been one of Morgan’s best friends almost since birth. He’s also one of the reasons she’s learned to fight so well. She’s the one he runs to when his latest “marks” turn out to be a bit smarter than had counted on. But whether its locks, traps, scams, black market acquisitions, or any of the other shady and sketchy resources a newly primed band of adventurers often find themselves desperately needing to work with – he’s your man. He’ll tell you so. Often. Especially when you’d rather he shut up for once.
The goal with this one is getting that slimy, shifty, untrustworthy but still irritatingly charming ball of cockiness into one snapshot. I think the image on the right captures it pretty well.
“human male, mid 20s, athletic, rough, thief, short unkempt black hair, goatee, troublemaker, dark eyes, wearing ragged leather armor, holding a dagger, mischievous, cocky”
