Continuing with my Baldur’s gate re-imaginings. This set finished the regular BG1 NPCs with the remaining evil folks. I won’t do Imoen’s reaction to these guys, because I feel that would be repetitive and un-funny, and she needs a break..

CE Human Mage/Necromancer
Xzar is actually somewhat of a complex character. Definitely insane, but in a “clearly enjoying himself and self-aware” sort of way. He likes being insane. He likes being evil. And he wants you to be happy too…

NE Halfling Fighter/Thief
Montaron, on the other hand, is a plain old killer. No offence, you’re just in the way. He needs to be both obviously a simple halfling and obviously completely free of moral horizons.

This guy is dour, mercenary, and not interested any anything beyond the paycheck. He’s a constant complainer, but willing to do almost anything if it pays the bills.

CN Gnome cleric/illusionist
Tiaz is the megalomaniacal evil gnome whose semi-insane and whom no-one takes seriously. So he has to somehow combine a comic appearance with an evil demeanor..

Dorn Il-Khan
To my mind Dorn is a thug. He has a reasons and justifications, and he has larger goals and aspirations. But at his core he is a Bully, and willing to sacrifice anyone or anything for power.

Eldoth Kron
To me Eldoth is human slime personified. He is utterly untrustworthy, always out for his own gain, and always ready to stick a dagger in your back with a smile on his face. Total scuzzball.
I feel like Imoen would enjoy Ajantis’ knightly dreams and courtesy, but would be unable to resist poking at his stiff self-seriousness, while Ajantis would be unable to resist trying to impress her.
Shar-Teel Dosan
Shar-Teel is just violent. Borderline socio-pathic. Like Dorn she has her reasons for hating large groups of people (men, Flaming Fists, mercenaries). In response she has dedicated her life to violence, and she has become very good at it.
