Continuing with my Baldur’s gate re-imaginings. This set fills out the remaining neutral NPCs.
Xan
LN Elf Enchanter
Xan has that look in his eyes of constant existential weariness. It’s all pointless, it’ll never work, yet he’s going to try anyway because its the right thing to do. Admirable in his own way, even if rather depressing.

Safana
CN Human Thief
Safana has that look that says she always has an angle. She’s playing you, you know she’s playing you, and you’re going to let her do it anyway. Which makes it all the more satisfying when you can turn the tables on her. On of the few NPCs with the sass and quick wit to give as good as she gets with anyone.

Faldorn
TN Human Druid
Faldorn is our dark, angry nature avenger. The goth nature girl who has completely stopped believing in civilization. So we go for the angry emo look for her.

Skie Silvershield
TN Human Thief
Skie comes across as the rich, naive socialite bored of her sheltered upbringing and looking for a little adventure and excitement, without any of the experience necessary to understand exactly what that means. Which makes her the perfect target for the likes of Eldoth.

Xan & Imoen
I like to think that Imoen would feel sorry for Xan and try cheering him up. Which I’m not sure he would quite know what to do with…
Safana & Imoen
I feel that this interaction would be more than a little catty, with Imoen not falling for Safana’s routine and Safana dismissing Imoen as a child. But Safana is one of the few NPCs with the attitude and sass to come right back at Imoen’s attempts to get under her skin.
Faldorn & Imoen
Faldorn would likely try intimidating Imoen, but there’s not way Imoen would take Faldorn’s act seriously. She would just receive mockery in return, and she doesn’t have Safana’s sass and wit to fight back in that way.
Skie & Imoen
This one I imagine working out surprisingly well. Skie would envy what she sees as Imoen’s life of adventure, while Imoen would be jealous of all of the castles and pageantry. They would likely bond over that, gossip together, and go shopping.
