Grim’s Gang hails back to the days of Wizardry 8. I put together a party for that game with no intention of it being anything other than “the collection of characters I’m using for this run”. But between Wizardry 8’s awesome voice characterisation and quirky atmosphere, they all took on a life of their own. The basic theme of Grim’s Gang is that Grim is taking flawed people that might have trouble fitting into “normal” parties – or even the world in general -learning exactly what makes them tick, and forming them into a carefully orchestrated mercenary band. He is absolutely not above lying to them – or at least with-holding information – if he feels that will best mould them to his liking. Some of them understand this, some of them do not. But all of them understand he is *very* good at what he does and *very* protective of what he considers “his”.
